About me
I am Anders Hallan, a photographer and scientist based in Sydney, specializing in the hidden worlds of sea urchins, molluscs, and recently ancient artefacts. My work blends research precision with artistic vision, revealing details often invisible to the naked eye.
My images have been published in National Geographic, where I recently created a photographic feature on sea urchins. I have also exhibited my work and contribute regularly to science and culture magazines.
Each print begins with hours of patient macro photography and composite work. The result is a piece that unites science and art — celebrating natural design while standing as fine art in its own right.
Hallan Studio was founded to make these images available as museum-quality prints for collectors, interior spaces, and anyone drawn to the intersection of art, science, and the sea.
